Contact Tracing:

If you test positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), we urge you to engage with our NHS Test and Trace or the NHS COVID-19 app team who will initiate the process of contacting other people who may have caught the virus from you.

Please contact the NHS Test and Trace if there has not been any contact and be prepared to share the required information in accordance with the GDPR such as:

  • your name, date of birth and postcode
  • if you live with other people
  • any places you've been recently, such as a workplace, school or a public place of worship
  • names and contact details of any people you were in close contact with in the 48 hours before your symptoms started (if you know these details)

At St. John the Evangelist, we are introducing a robust process and will need to be notified of any positive results particularly if you have attended a public Mass two days before becoming symptomatic and subsequently getting your positive test results.
